There are many laws for many different reasons.

Some laws are to give people the things the government has

decided they should have, like education, or Social Security

checks, or postal service, or new highways. Other laws are

to keep people safe, like when they decide if people should

have flu shots or other immunizations, or if people have

guardians, or if people should have to pay someone back if

they injured the person by accident.
